Pretty Lights

I told you guys I will be putting up posts related to the festive and wedding season. It’s here now and I am sure everyone is hunting for outfits for the same. A lot of my friends are getting married in the next few months and I have already started looking for outfits for the same.

This blog post is dedicated to all the bridesmaids attending their friends weddings this year. Black and gold is such a classic combination and you can never really go wrong with it. I came across this lehnga from a designer called Azra Sheikh. I love everything about the outfit. The colour, the work and the fit. It literally fit me like a glove. I decided to accessorise the look with chand balis and a maang tika, keeping it as minimal as I could and decided to let my hair down, straight and loose. I think it’s a perfect look for any friends wedding. Let me know what you guys think of the look.

I wanted this post to have that full of light background to give it the whole wedding feel. After hunting a lot I found this place that’s just opened in Khar called CURRY TALES. They have gorgeous interiors filled with yellow lights, pots and pans as chandeliers!

Curry Tales serve home style food that spans the west coast of india. From thalis to ghee roast to fish curry, their menu is very interesting. All the ingredients are carefully procured from each region to ensure the flavours represent the fabric of evolved kitchens over the last few decades.

Since I was shooting there anyway I also decided to try the food. It’s absolutely delicious. It’s home-style cooked food so it’s not heavy on your stomach as well. Give it a try guys 🙂
